Blue River began back in 1974 when Bueal Hedstrom wanted to design a new cattle waterer with a recessed hood and a deeper, wider tank. So, he started Hedstrom Concrete Products in his garage with his son, Alan Hedstrom. They later located in Woodbine, IA. The company has changed hands a few times since 1996. Since 2008, Blue River is back in the family and flourishing under Alan Hedstrom's direction and family work ethic.

Concrete products are what we do. Our goal is to make high quality products and ensure customer satisfaction. Blue River stands behind their products and services and they are happy to make custom changes when needed.
